A fast, secure, and custom-built digital news and media publishing platform developed for Daily India Times. The platform combines traditional news publishing with Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube video content, podcasts, and large custom video uploads, all managed through a dedicated administration panel.
The Challenge & Requirement
The client required a lightweight and easy-to-manage publishing solution without the complexity and overhead of platforms such as WordPress. They needed a system capable of handling regular news publishing, social media videos, podcasts, large video uploads, homepage content ordering, SEO, and advertising while remaining fast, secure, and simple for the editorial team to operate.
Our Strategy & Engineering Approach
Designed and developed a fully custom publishing platform using Laravel, Alpine.js, and Tailwind CSS for the public-facing website, along with a React-based administration panel. The CMS allows editors to create and manage news articles, upload custom videos up to 2GB, publish podcast content, integrate videos from Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube, and control the display order of content across the homepage. The platform was also configured with structured SEO practices and Google AdSense integration to support organic discoverability and monetization.
